We’re excited to invite all young people aged 11-21 who are living, working or studying in Oxfordshire to our Mental Health Summit on Tuesday 5th July from 9am until 3:30pm!
The Youth Mental Health Summit is a free day of activities and conversation around mental health and wellbeing for young people in the Oxfordshire area, and is organised in partnership with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust as part of a year of engaging work together.
During the summit you’ll get to experience:
Meeting other young people from across Oxfordshire
Fun icebreakers and challenges
Mental Health & Wellbeing Workshops covering topics such as understanding the difference between mental health & mental illness, identifying self-care techniques & how to ask for help
Youth Voice Workshops allowing young people to share their voice on topics such as ‘How to beat exam stress’ & ‘Building Relationships’
Wellbeing Fair stalls with information & activities from local support services including CAMHS and local charities
Exploring key themes identified as having a negative impact on young people’s mental health in our survey: Negative thoughts and feelings, Relationship problems & Exam stress
