Further Education colleges educate and train over 2.2 million people every year and are an essential part of our communities in the UK. At the same time, I know first hand how student voice – when supported, empowered and given a platform – can have a transformative impact on decision making.

The energy in our Changemaker Studios: Portsmouth space was electric recently as students from schools across Portsmouth gathered together for our second Council of Portsmouth Students Summit 2021/2022.

Recently we worked with Portsmouth Grammar School to deliver our Unloc Enterprise Day with their Year 7 pupils. The Enterprise Challenge that the students were set was to start their very own custom sock company.
