New Unloc Advisory Board Members announced!

Unloc is pleased to announce our new 2023 Advisory Board, bringing together an amazing group of industry specialists, education experts, public sector leaders, and inspiring young people. 

As our organisation continues to grow, the breadth and depth of impact we are having, working with hundreds more schools and thousands more young people, the new Advisory Board is crucial in guiding the next stage of Unloc’s development as well as providing a critical friend to Unloc’s staff leadership team.

Let’s meet our new Unloc Advisory Board Members!

The new Board is to be co-chaired by Lynne Hunt and Anna Harris. Lynne is an experienced board chair having been Chair of Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust for the past 5 years, and Anna brings a great energy and unique perspective – having taken part in Unloc programmes as a young person, been a former Unloc staff member, a graduate of the University of Oxford, and now a civil servant leading on the Levelling Up agenda.

Joining the board, we are grateful to have long-time advocates of Unloc from the business world in LGBT+ activist Xavier White, Head of UK&I Marketing and EMEA Social Purpose at Verizon Business, fashion house giant Mark Turner, IT Business Relationship Director for Supply Chain at the iconic Burberry, and champion of community oriented business practice Brian Harpur, Founder and Managing Director of GRP Solutions Ltd.

We are also pleased to have recent participants from Unloc programmes joining the Board: former Chair of the Council of Portsmouth Students Ella Reilly, now studying BSc Wildlife Conservation at the University of Kent, Student Governor sitting on the main board for East Sussex College Group Alexandra Cheeseman, working towards her business qualifications; and Inspiring Change participant Tabitha Hazlewood, current A-Level student.
