Laura began her career in youth work, supporting underprivileged young people in Southampton to engage with education; over the last six years, she has established cross-sector partnerships to promote access to higher education, careers and alternative pathways, most recently supporting the Cornerstone Employer programme nationally for the Careers and Enterprise Company. As an experienced Social Value practitioner, Laura brings a deep understanding of the business need for meaningful youth outreach. In her spare time, she volunteers as Independent Custody Visitor, reporting on police detention practice, and as trustee of a local MAT.
