Leeds Youth Council

Find out how to take part in the Leeds Youth Council and campaign around top issues for young people.

 

Who can get involved

Young people aged 10 to 18 can join the council.

What is involved

  • Two groups, based on age, who meet in person on every month
  • Meet in person and campaign around local issues for young people.
  • Visits from different teams and services from across the city, provide information and seek your views about what is happening in Leeds for young people.
  • Opportunities to take part in short and long term projects.

  • Learn how to plan and deliver a campaign to drive positive change.
  • Make friends and meet new people.
  • Develop communication and problem-solving skills and learn about effective team work.
